Long Time No Speak

Alright so its been exactly a year since i last blogged! its crazy how time flies! So now i'm in high school! It has been a journey gettin here, but ive made it! woot woot!

So i just finnished having a thanksgiving gathering with my family and i think i just gained 20 lbs! Workout here we come!

Muffins :)

Today, I made muffins. They are truely beauiful, although a little dark. they have fluffy tops, and are nice and scruptious on the inside. :) Muffins make u feel like u can face the world! i truely encourage u to make them! they are tasty and for the most part a healthy comfort food. so.... the next time, ur fellin down, or hungry, MAKE SOME MUFFINS!!!!! :D

Band Trip!!

Yesterday, my band class went on a band trip to winnipeg, and went listened and preformed diff pieces we have been working on. It was lots of fun, and our band instructor if cool. We were allouwed to listen to our ipods and have our phones! We ate lunch at a mall, and if we were done early we could shop! i got a dress and a shirt! i enjoyed myself!

Grand Forks!!!!

This past weekend, me and my mom went to grand forks, shopping and hotelling with my bestie jesse, and his family. it was awesome, and kinda like my spring break since i was busy during mine lol. we swam, and shopped like there was no tommorow!!!! i am now stocked up with tons of summer clothes!!!!!!

Spring Break

Alright well its been a long time since ive blogged, and spring break was a while ago, but im gonna tell u a bit about what i did.
 i went on a program called Soar Heartland, which is doing mission work around the world. on spring break we went to the north end of winnipeg, and slept in a chuch, for 10 days. each day we did something different. some of the things we did was:
- talk and pray for a homeless person
- buy them coffee
- amazing race
- flora house (prostitution house)
- taught cooking classes to reffugees
- worshipped
- ate :)
- and a whole wac of more things!
This was my 3rd year participating in this type of thing, and it has always been the best life experiance ever! Cant wait for next year!!!!

OOPS!

I feel really stupid since i havent blogged in like 5003485957 years! ive been extremely busy, and havent even checked my emails in 3 weeks! holy crap eh? Anyways, i just wanted to say that i will be blogging lots in the next few days telling u about the following:

Band Workshop!

Hola Amigos! i just wanted to tellu about this band workshop, i will be attending tomorrow! its in morden, and its from 9:00 am, until 9:45 pm! we will be having a concert in the evening too1 Although im kinda nervous because im not the best at playing the music, cause we recieved it at the last minute, or it seemed that way! Since Valentines Day is creeping up on us, my friends, and i have planned a Valentines party at school! One of the major activities included is called candy grams. This is a process where guys/girls bye candy heart suckers with love notes attached to them, and they are sent to that one special person, or just to ur bff! It is a great idea, and i myself am proud to say that i have purchased a few candy grams, for somebody inperticular :P 

Biography!

This past week my class has been working on writing biographys is ELA. My teacher told us to pick our fav person or hero to write about, and i chose Sandra Bullock, my fav actress! This whole thing has inspired me to write about one of my good friends Syd, whom i talk about a lot! So i hope you like, it and please comment! :P

Sydney Jordan Hildebrandt, A Biography by: Marina McGhie
        Sydney Jordan Hildebrandt, born September 10th, 1997, in Winnipeg Manitoba, at the Womens Pravillian Hospital at aproxamately 9:45pm. Syd was born a happy, content, and most of all a lovable child.

Steve and Kim Hildebrandt raised three beautiful children, Lindsay, Colby, and of course Syd. Although they divorced early on, Syd's dad Steve raised the kids on a large farm out in the country, in a village called Widenfeld.

In her spare time, Sydney enjoys playing sports, making strange videos, photograpgy, blogging, and playing with her animals. Her two cats: Cookie and Face, and her dog Hershey

Sydney's hero is her grandmother, whom she spends time with on the weekends. In her eyes the only word to describe her grandma is awesome!

When syd grows up, she hopes to travel to Melbourne, Austrailia, own her favourite animal, a llama, and possibly become a vetrenarian.

Sydney is a social butterfly, and enjoys being around people. When syd is alone, you will most likely find her talking to her stuffed animals, or creating some exotic video, she will later place on her blog.
Syd is not camera shy, and when in public, can sometimes be a complete embarrasment; yelling out random words just to see strangers actions to her obnoctious behavior.

While at school, Syd is a friend to all, and is always that person who will join you when nobody else will. Sydney is especially creative, when it comes to ELA, although she enjoys art, I believe she is strongest in her writing. Syd is a eye catching writer, with a wondering imagination.

Day to day, Sydney Jordan Hilderandt, continues to be as crazy as usual, making you laugh when you shouldnt be. She is a great friend, one that you can count on and guarenteed will never change.

Babysitting!

Hello my fellow interbebbwers! i have a funny story i'd like to share with you!
So yesterday, i was babysitting, like i do 2-3 times a week as usual, these 2 awesome kids, whom i love babysitting. Yesterday, we were playing hide and seek, and we made it clear at the beginning that there was going to be no scaring the crap out of each other! lol Anyways the little boy was hiding in a closet, and i looked, and didnt see him. Then he took off running, and didnt realise i was chasing him. When he turned around, he literally had a heart attack! it was really funny! Hopefully there was no accidents!
Well i really encourage people to babysit, because its a fun and easy way to create some extra $, you learn life skills, like how to cook, and deal with small issues. Its a great experiance, and you will have a great time, once you get to know the hoolagins as your friends!

Awesomly awesome Madness!!!!!!!

Holy Detchlont! am extremely exited for friday!party on friday evening! It going to be a blast. What could be a better way to spend a friday evening than to be with ur besties? One Time i was having a beast fest with my buddies, and we literally spent 40$ on a crapload of junk food! it was awesome!

Every March, my church has a retreat at Camp Ceederwoord, in the Whiteshell! last year My Friends Kristin, and Jill, an i had an awesome time swimming, attempting to skateboard, photoshoots, singing, and much much more! Here's a goofy pic, that caught Jill at the wrong time!

Where I hope to Someday Travel!

This is Venice, Italy, a beautiful pic of where I hope to someday travel!
In Italy, the food is said to be amazing! yum! italian! I also love this city, because it is so ROMANTIC! :P 
Once I get to Venice, the first day visiting here, I would most likely take a gondala ride, following an italian meal, in one of the most popular restaurants here called Trattoria Corte Sconta, rated a 4 and half out of 5.
During my tour, another destination would have to be Rome, to see the ancient buildings and theatres, that we learned about in my ss class!

SLEEPOVER!!!!!

Since yesterday school was cancellled, my bestie Syd came over! We had an awesome time attempting to make funny vids, as well as had a photo shoot at one of our local parks!
We stayed up realitively late and watched some movies, including The Messanger, as well as Dinner for Shmucks! I would highly reccomend dinner for shmucks, as you will spend 90% of the movie laughing!
Yesterday the weather was extremely beautiful, and a perfect day for our photoshoot! If only it never change! Overall, we had a great time, and an enjoyable weekend!

Multicultural Festival!

Hola Amigos! I just came home from the annual Altona Mlticultural Festival! My schools grade 8 choir sang 3 songs, each in a different language! 1. Day-o=jamacan, 2. Mo li Hua=chineese, 3. Wakati wa Amani=swahili. At this festival some activities included were: horse and buggie rides, a flag parade, an aboriginal dance, my schools choir, and much much more! We had a great time and our 3 songs were prepared well including our two soloists: Cedes, and Kristin! Great Job!
